Aug 2 ’18

  • Description
    • The Elite summer camp is an opportunity for players to develop a specific range of hockey related skills in a highly competitive environment. This camp is geared towards upper to elite level players. Areas of concentration will include overspeed training with and without pucks, as well as shooting under pressure with limited time and space. The goal of this camp is to challenge players to work beyond their traditional capacity and learn to perform at a higher level.
    • There are two 90-minute on-ice sessions each day
  • Daily Schedule
    • Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu about 9:00am to 4:00pm
    • Parents will drop their player off in the morning and pick them up at the end of the day (parents are welcome to stay and watch)
    • Kids will be supervised during the scheduled time at the rink
    • Lunch is provided each day. If your player has special dietary needs, please send food with them.
  • Please prepare the following paperwork and bring with you to camp check-in:
    • A copy of your child's insurance card (front and back)
    • A completed/signed copy of the Consent to Treat & Medical History form - CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD
  • Basic items to bring with you
    • Work-out clothes (shorts and t-shirts)
    • Tennis shoes or other comfortable shoes
    • Fully approved protective equipment, including mouth guard
    • Hat and/or sunscreen and water bottle
      • During camp the campers will spend time outdoors. As a result, we strongly recommend the use of proper sun protection and plenty of fluids. Water breaks will be given on a regular basis, but water bottles will NOT be provided due to health regulations. We strongly recommend that each camper bring his/her own water bottle.
  • Cell Phone Policy
    • Players are encouraged not to bring cell phones or other valuables to camp. If players do bring cell phones, their phones will be collected in the locker room prior to their first event of the day each day. Players will be given their phones back upon check-out that day. This process will be repeated each day in the morning and at check-out.
    • Players can call their parents or family whenever they need from the rink by asking their coach or team leader. Use of cell phones during camp activities will result in confiscation of the cell phone until the end of the camp. This will be clearly communicated to players at the start of camp and enforced throughout the camp. If players need to use their phone for some reason they will need to ask permission from one of the staff members.
